The polls have closed and counting is underway in Melbourne’s south-east for former Victorian premier Daniel Andrews’s state seat of Mulgrave.
The resignation of former Victorian premier Daniel Andrews triggered the by-election in the seat of Mulgrave.
Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan campaigned at polling stations on Saturday on behalf of Labor candidate Eden Foster, who is expected to retain the traditional Labor seat.
The electorate in Melbourne’s south-east covering an area of just over 35 square kilometres.
Since it’s inception in 2002, it has only been held by Labor.
