Former prime minister John Howard has expressed his shame for the recent acts of anti-semitism seen in Australia.
Visiting a synagogue in Sydney, Mr Howard gave a heartfelt address in Bondi.
He conveyed his strong disapproval of the actions witnessed in Australia following Hamas’ attack on Israel last month.
“As an Australian, I am ashamed at what your (Jewish) community has been subjected to over the past few weeks,” Mr Howard said.
