This week, the internet was abuzz with the news of Kylie Jenner’s new fashion brand, Khy. She posted a photo of herself wearing one of its pieces (captioned simply, “Meet Khy”) offering a glimpse of what’s to come: sleek black faux leather with architectural elements, combining sexiness with understated luxury. She later shared more snaps featuring a variety of separates, from little black dresses to oversized hoodies. Now, she’s tapped her family and friends – who just so happen to be some of Hollywood’s most influential dressers – as unofficial ambassadors.
For dinner at the celebrity-favorite Italian restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, Kylie, her sister Kendall Jenner and their close friend Hailey Bieber all wore striking Khy looks in faux black leather. Kylie chose a halter-neck top with a front zipper and biker jacket-inspired padding on the sides, paired with matching straight-leg trousers. She rounded off her ensemble with black sandals and a mini bag, both from The Row.
Kendall, meanwhile, sported a waist-cinching, strapless paneled dress that fell to midi length, along with sheer black tights, kitten heels and a clutch bag (the latter two pieces by The Row). Hailey chose a strapless little black dress (a timeless choice for Mrs Bieber), layered over a long-sleeve polo neck top. She completed her look with Jimmy Choo pumps and a Bottega Veneta Falcon clutch bag.
Given her mogul status, it’s no surprise to see Kylie venturing into the fashion world. Khy’s first drop has been devised in partnership with Berlin-based brand Namilia, with collaborations with other brands to follow. The official release date for the collection is yet to be announced, but fans can register for early access on the website.
