The 18-year-old son of South Australia’s Police Commissioner is on life support in hospital after an alleged hit-and-run in the south of Adelaide.
Charlie Stevens, son of Grant Stevens, was struck by a car in Goolwa Beach around 9pm yesterday.
He was airlifted to Flinders Medical Centre after sustaining serious injuries.
The 18-year-old driver who failed to stop after hitting the pedestrian was pulled over by police a short distance away from the scene.
He was arrested, and charged with causing harm by dangerous driving, and is set to appear in court on Monday.
