Ingredients for making Thekua.

1. One kg flour

2. Half kg jaggery

3. Two teaspoons fennel

4. 500 grams of ghee for frying

Method of making Thekua,

Dissolve jaggery well in lukewarm water.

Take flour in a large vessel, add two teaspoons of fennel to it,

Add jaggery solution to the flour and knead the dough,

Keep the dough aside for 10 minutes to soften.

Heat ghee in a pan on low flame.

Make small balls of dough and prepare round or long-shaped thekua.

Fry the thekua on low flame till it turns golden brown.

This thekua tastes delicious.
