Sky News host Peta Credlin says the new member for Flinders, Liberal Zoe McKenzie gave a “terrific first speech” in Parliament.
“Zoe is a former industrial relations lawyer and small businesswoman who founded her own trade advisory company,” she said.
“Many years ago, we worked together in the Howard government in the same office and she was that good when we got back into government when I was PM’s chief of staff.”
Ms Credlin said Ms McKenzie replaced former health minister Greg Hunt, who retired at the last election and had served the community for 21 years.
“She was a big success at the last election for the Liberal Party,” she said.
